abstract= "We present domain-specific transformations of the
     ray-tracing algorithm targeting reconfigurable hardware
devices. Ray tracing is a computationally intensive
algorithm used to produce photorealistic images of
three-dimensional scenes. We show how the proposed
transformations can adapt the basic ray-tracing algorithm to
a breadth-first style, and give estimates for the hardware
     needed for realtime raytracing."
