%X Intel\[rs]s Threading Building Blocks library provides an
efficient, work\-stealing lightweight task scheduler, along
with a high\-level task\-based API for parallel programming
in C++. This presentation shows how TBB\[rs]s scheduler can
be used (without modification) to implement blocking
process\-oriented concurrent systems, and discusses the
advantages and disadvantages of this approach.
