Parallel Object-Oriented Methods and Applications (POOMA)Framework
- Abstract
- Parallel Object-Oriented Methods and Applications (POOMA)
FrameWork is a C++ class library designed to provide
a flexible environment for data-parallel programming
of scientific applications. The FrameWork defines an
interface in which the users, who need not be familiar
with object-oriented programming, express the fundamental
scientific content and/or numerical methods of their
problem (optionally with hints as to how to best decompose
it across processors). Objects within the POOMA FrameWork
perform the necessary data decomposition and communications.
