Autopilot
- Abstract
- Our Autopilot adaptive resource management infrastructure is designed to allow application and runtime library developers to create software that can change its behavior and optimize its performance in response to real-time data on software dynamics and performance. This infrastructure design increases software portability by isolating resource policy selection and configuration within retargetable, decision procedures, allowing application and runtime libraries to adapt to disparate hardware and software with minimal change.
