Synergy

Abstract

The SYNERGY system was designed to provide an efficient and stable platform for distributed and parallel processing. The SYNERGY software is a parallel processing system that uses a Passive Object Flow Programming (POFP) method for architecture independent parallel programming. It supports automatic processor assignments, automatic load balancing, and automatic SIMD worker fault detection and recovery.
