STKIO

Abstract

STKIO is an automated disk benchmark tool, for UNIX platforms, that generates either random or sequential I/O reference patterns over a number of drives or files. This tool may be used to benchmark disk products, providing accurate, consistant results suitable for comparing one product to another. STKIO may also be used to provide useful information on how well your current disks are performing.
