AMR1D

Abstract
AMR1D is an extremely simple ADAPTIVE MESH REFINEMENT CODE for solving the one-dimensional Euler equations on an unstructured grid. Because it was written primarily as a learning tool, it uses a data structure similar to what would be needed on a higher dimensional simulation. The code models particularly well flow discontinuities, as encountered on SOD's shock tube problem.
