CODINE - COmputing in DIstributed Network

Abstract

Codine is a software package targeted at utilizing heterogeneous networked environments, in particular large workstation clusters with integrated compute servers, such as vector and parallel computers. Codine provides a batch queueing framework for a large variety of architectures via a GUI-based administration tool. Codine also provides dynamic and static load balancing, checkpointing, and supports batch, interactive, and parallel jobs.
