GEOMESH

Abstract

GEOMESH is a software tool for generating, editing and optimizing multi-material unstructured finite element grids (triangles and tetrahedra). GEOMESH maintains the geometric integrity of complex input volumes, surfaces, and geologic data and produces an optimal grid (Delaunay, Voronoi) that satisfies the constraint that the geometric coupling coefficients of the grid are positive for all elements. Geomesh functions are built on the LaGriT grid generation system with special features tailored to geological applications.
