- Abstract
- MacBench® 4.0 is a subsystem-level benchmark that measures the processor, floating point, disk, graphics, video, and CD-ROM performance of a Mac OS system. For MacBench 4.0, we recorded the graphics, disk, and CD-ROM activity performed by top-selling Mac OS products, including database, business graphics and desktop publishing, spreadsheet, and word processing applications. MacBench's tests reflect how well your Mac OS system should run popular Macintosh applications
