Virtue

Abstract

Virtue is a collaborative virtual environment for data visualization. The Virtue system realizes abstract data in the form of three-dimensional graphs, and provides interactive tools that allows one to investigate and annotate these visualizations. It is a virtual reality system that provides 3D stereoscopic graphics on platforms ranging from desktop systems to fully immersive VR environments. The objective of the Virtue project is the development of virtual environments that allow software developers to directly manipulate software components and their behavior while immersed in scalable, hierarchical representations of software structure and real-time performance data.
