VPE (Visual Parallel Programming Environment)

Abstract
VPE is an integrated environment for explicit message-passing parallel programming. Program task structure is specified via a graph in which nodes represent tasks and messages flow on arcs. Tasks are specified as ordinary C or Fortran with VPE library calls. VPE also automates compiling and running programs, even in a heterogeneous environment. VPE is built on top of PVM.
