Bulletin number: 377 Products affected: D7214 Description: ChanIn talking to ChanIn Component: Date: Wed Dec 18 14:51:58 GMT 1991 ----- It is possible for ChanIn to talk to ChanIn and give strange results. If two processes use ChanIn to talk to each other via a (hard) link the direction of transfer is actually decided by the link address. If you place the 2 processes on 1 processor and communicate via a channel the direction of transfer is decided by whichever process gets to the channel LAST. The same argument goes for ChanOut and most of the other Chan functions.
