TDS server failure messages. Section 16.4 

The server can, but should not normally, fail with one of the
following undocumented messages:

Cannot open boot file 
Cannot read boot file 
Timeout on downloading boot file 
Illegal protocol whilst reading top level file 
Cannot close boot file 
Illegal filer command, server terminated 
Bad command line option 
Bad top level file 
There are no top level files
