Bulletin number: 15 Products affected: D700D D700E Description: Use of TDS on PCs running NFS Component: Date: Tue Feb 27 14:59:35 GMT 1990 ----- If TDS is used on a networked NFS drive there is a good chance of getting a 'file creation' or 'file access' error. This is sometimes caused by a limitation in the number of files open at any one time which PCNFS imposes. By default the limit is eight files which is too low for the TDS to operate normally. The number can be extended by adding /F40 (for forty files) to the line in CONFIG.SYS which loads the PCNFS driver. It should look something like: DEVICE=C:\NFS\PCNFS.SYS /F40
