Where to find Origami for Windows Once connected, change the directory to vendors/elcom/. Subdirectory origami/ contains Origami for Windows itself (version 3.0, build 0), while directory patches/ contains patches (upgrades) for this and the next releases. 3. How to apply patches The patch is the standard executable (MS-DOS) program which upgrades file "origami.exe" to the next release. To check what version do you have, select "About" menu item in Origami; if it is older than 3.0, download version 3.0 first. Otherwise, click the right mouse button on file "origami.exe" in Windows'95 explorer, select "Version" page in property sheet and remember the last three digits of "File version" - this is the build number, and the key for applying patches, too. If there is no "Version" page, then you have build 000. The first digit means month (9=September, A=October, etc), the next two means day of the month. For example, file "000to925.exe" (compressed into "000to925.zip") upgrages Origami build 000 to build 925. To make an upgrade, just put this file into the directory containing your old "origami.exe" and run it - it will make a backup copy as "origami.old" and create build 925. 4.
