This is the site for the Fork95 distribution. If you already have installed the SB-PRAM system software (assembler, linker, loader, simulator), then you only need to upgrade the compiler. Get the gzipped tarfile Compiler_only.1.5.tar.gz. Unpack it into a new directory called (e.g.) fork. See the README file there for information on installation. Otherwise, you should first install the system software. Get the gzipped tarfile sbp_pramutils-0.9.tar.gz. Unpack it into a new directory called (e.g.) pram. See the README file there for information on installation. Then install the compiler as indicated above. The file SBPRAM-Fork95.1.21.tar.gz contains an older distribution (Oct. 1995). Unpacking this will result in two new directories called fork and pram. See the README files there for information on installation. A more comfortable simulator for the SB-PRAM is currently under development at Saarbruecken university. A 128 PE prototype of the SB-PRAM is currently operational and will be made globally accessible in the near future. Watch the announcements in the SB-PRAM project's WWW homepage, URL http://www-wjp.cs.uni-sb.de/sbpram. --- C.W. Kessler Nov. 1996
