Intel Performance Library Suite
- Abstract
- Intel has developed a Performance Library Suite to
address, at present, three disciplines. These are signal
processing, speech and character recognition, and linear
algebra. These libraries have each been optimized for
particular Intel Architecture processors and in the
cases of the signal processing and recognition primitives
libraries, include support for processors with MMX(TM)
technology. The Math Kernel Library (MKL) contains
the BLAS and a set of FFTs and a few BLAS-like functions.
