High Performance Math Software
ExacMath
- Abstract
- ExacMath gives the programmer the tools to create applications
that solve problems in scientific programming which
require the use of high precision arithmetic. Mathematical
algorithms, by nature, have rounding and cancellation
errors because of fixed precision arithmetic. Frequently
these errors can be minimized by extending the available
precision within the numeric processor.

- Name
- ExacMath
- TargetEnvironment
- ExacMath applications require the use of an Intel Pentium
microprocessor with a numeric processor. To compile
and link an ExacMath application a Borland C++ 4.51,
or Microsoft Visual C++ 4.0 compiler is required. DOS
6.22 or Windows 95 operating system is required. The
libraries require approximately 15 megs of hard drive
space. A minimum of 16 megs of memory is suggested.
- TitleLine
- is a math library that supports real and complex arithmetic with three floating point data types.
