Vampirtrace
- Abstract
- The VAMPIRtrace MPI profiling library generates trace
data which can be analyzed by the Vampir performance
visualization tool or the Dimemas performance prediction
tool. It hooks into the MPI profiling interface and
has low tracing overhead. The effects of distributed
clock drifts are corrected automatically. Tracing can
be enabled/disabled during runtime. An API is provided
for defining, starting, and stopping user-defined activities,
in addition to the default MPI activity.
