Tiger
- Abstract
- TIGER is a grid generation software that exclusively
generates three-dimensional, structured grids for all
classes of turbomachines with external, internal, and
external-internal flow fields. The development of TIGER
was inspired by the difficulties encountered in using
some of the all-purpose grid generation packages to
generate grids about turbomachinery configurations.
TIGER has a dual system: The Grid Generation System
and the Flow Simulation System. The TIGER Grid Generation
System is made up of three modules: Grid Generation,
Grid Visualization, and Data Manipulation Tool Box.
The TIGER Flow Field Simulation System modules are
accessed from the Grid Visualization Module.
