HAMAC
- Abstract
-
HAMAC is an interactive software package for assisting the mesh
generation process. It has been developed for CFD applications in the
framework of a project involving flow simulation in turbines.
The main objective was to obtain an interactive tool to study the effect of
some grid generation algorithms. This was an opportunity for examining the
problem of boundary meshes (with poles and singular points) and to
elaborate a strategy for it. An Elliptic Smoothing algorithm was validated
and the parameters for the orthogonality control of the Osculatory
Transfinite Interpolation were analyzed.
