Getting Started

To summarize, if you are interested in starting an HPCC repository and in having it be part of the NHSE, do the following:

1. Send email to nhse_tech@netlib.org and let them know of your interest.
2. Carry out the domain scoping activities described in section 2.
3. Download a copy of Repository in a Box (RIB) from the NHSE site (http://www.nhse.org/, formerly http://www.netlib.org/nhse/) when RIB becomes available in September of 1996. Use RIB to create and maintain your repository's software catalog records. Let nhse_tech@netlib.org know of additional capabilities you need added to RIB.
