Comment Letters' Copyright & Usage :
The NHSE ReviewTM is an electronic publication of Rice University, University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Syracuse University, California Institute of Technology, and Argonne National Laboratory (known herein as the NHSE Review).
Each comment letter becomes property of the NHSE Review, which therefore can make and distribute copies of (including electronic transmission), publicly perform or display, and create derivative works based on, the letter in whole or in part and authorize others to do so, in any existing or future tangible medium of expression and for any purpose. The author of the comment letter authorizes the NHSE Review, in its editorial judgment, to use, or not use, the name of the comment-letter author in any copies of or derivative works based on the comment letter.
Each author warrants and represents to the NHSE Review that, except as expressly disclosed in the comments above: (i) the comments are original with the author(s), (ii) the author(s) have the right to make the grant of rights above, (iii) the NHSE Review's exercise of their rights granted above will not infringe the copyright, or constitute the misappropriation of a trade secret, of a third party. The author(s) will indemnify and defend the NHSE Review (or any of the NHSE Review Institutions) against any third-party claims arising from any breach of the warranties and representations set forth in the previous sentence.
As to the article that is the subject of the comment letter: Non-exclusive, royalty-free, world-wide, ongoing rights to distribute, archive, perform, print, and display the article have been granted to the NHSE Review by its author(s). No revenue from any commercial use of this article by the NHSE Review is due the author(s). All other uses are subject to copyright laws. Please contact the author for information regarding permission for other authorized uses.
The NHSE Review reserves the right to not publish any comment letter it deems inappropriate in its editorial judgment.
The author of an article may or may not take a comment letter into consideration if/when a new update of the article is written. The maintainer/creator of the software/hardware may or may not take a comment letter into consideration if/when a new update of the software/hardware is created.
