This path contains TOOPS (Version 1.2.1).

TOOPS is a C++ class library for process-oriented simulation
primarily of communication protocols.


TOOPS currently runs under HP UX 9.0x and 10.10 (HP C++ 3.40 and 
gcc 2.5.8 and 2.7.2), under LINUX (gcc 2.5.8), DOS, Windows 3.1 
and Windows 95 (Borland C++ 3.1 and MS Visual C++ 1.51).

We still have problems under Borland 4.x and SUN OS 4.1.3. 

TOOPS is available in 2 different file formats (containing identical data): 
   toops1.21.tar.gz gzip'ed UNIX tar format (~ 200 kB) 
   toops121.zip Pkzip'ed version (~ 250 kB / 
                                  requires PKUNZIP version 2.04 or later)
