ST Microelectronics may view the transputer T8 OS links as obsolete but
there are many people still using this link technology. We have
developed several products based on the use of this 10/20Mbs serial link
and see a need to maintain this technology. We can operate our 20 Mbs
OS link interface with twisted pair cable at lengths up to 100m and the
appropriate line drivers. This is a significantly greater speed then
standard RS 232 UARTs.
