Hi,

I just got more news involving the distribution of Helios 1.3. According to
Alex Schuilenburg who was the Helios Project Manager and one of the original
developers of Helios:

1) Perihelion had liquidated all their assets at the end of last year. Anyone
who wants an "unrestricted, unencumbered, non-exclusive, no-royalty, etc"
Helios source code can buy it for $10,000 USD. You can get the details from
Alex at alexs@cygnus.co.uk

2) The Transputer version of Helios was released for FREE prior to the
liquidation and is still FREE (as long as no one charges anyone for it)

So, this pretty much confirms it legally that helios can be distributed for
free.

Ram
