Hello

I am doing a research project into parallel processing at the University
of Sheffield in England. As a starting point I would like to know what
is currently happening in the world of parallel processing and the
transputer. Things like, what they were used for originally, what they
are used for now and why they have died out?
If anybody could help me or tell me where I might find this information
I would be most grateful.
