well, ofcourse things can be learned from transputers. Only they stepped
in place for so long... a DSP with floating point (hp I think) does (in
our new system) in 0.5 a millisecond the same processing that a T805 of
25MHz did in 23 milliseconds. 

The DSP systems lack the elegance of the transputer's built-in OS and
anyway all this is crying over spilled milk.
