Daniel,

The SIMM TRAM is a design we originally created, but it was specific for a
particular customer so it never became documented as a general purpose
design would be.

I had a quick word with the person who designed the board and he gave me
this info.

1) The slots are paired
2) The last used pair may contain a single stick in the lowest slot.
3) Memory in a pair of slots must be the same
4) fill memory in from lowest no. to highest no.
5) fill memory with largest size in lowest slots if using dissimilar size
sticks
6) only 8/16/32 M sticks are identified

Last night I should have pointed you towards Andy Ratbag's site but I could
not find it . So I posted
the binaries to this n/g. My appologies to any other user for posting
binaries to this n/g I meant to send them direct to daniel but did it from
the wrong context consequently they ended up in the n/g.

Hope this helps,

Alan
