I have one of the old CSA Transputer Education Kits for sale. I bought
it about two years ago and used it once. It's sat in storage since.
The kit consists of a T425 processor with 1 MB of memory and 4 links.
It is mounted on a PC ISA card which plugs into a PC. In addition to
the card, the kit comes with the full versions of Inmos' Occam and
Logical Systems C89.1 compilers. There is also a PC-based graphics
library which transputer programs can use to display results on the host
PC. There are a large number of manuals as well: Transputer Hardware
Manual, Occam tutorial, Occam manual, C Manual. Lots of neat stuff for
simple experiments in parallel computing. CSA went under a while ago so
I don't know what this board would sell for now. I paid $400. Will
take $125 and will ship anywhere in the US for free.
