The Maxwell Institute, based at Edinburgh University, will be holding 
a free five day workshop starting on the 24th May 1999 to explore the
future computing needs of important scientific applications that 
require High Performance Computing.

Leading UK and international experts in a wide variety of disciplines
have been invited to make presentations. The workshop will be of
interest to participants with a knowledge of the scientific goals of
their discipline, leading-edge computational algorithms, and how these
impinge on the choice of hardware.
