Hi,

I would like to know what are the hardware options for fast MPI or PVM
in the range of $ 40k. I was interested in a Parsytec CC/PP systems
(about 8 nodes = 16 processors with special bus/network) but they
practically stopped the project. Other option would be to add one node
to our O2000 system (only one node with two processors fits in). The
computation will be mostly molecular dynamics which requires a lot of
communicatiion (messaging) between nodes. It would be nice to run the
system with Linux or unix. The system should be well supported and
expandable.
