Hello comp.sys.super and comp.parallel,

Could someone give me a rundown of the state-of-the-art in super and
parallel computing? What manufacturers are building them? How fast are
they? What are the architectures like? What manufacturers and/or
architectures have fallen by the wayside? What are some of the
algorithms and languages being developed for these machines?

Thanks for any and all newsworthy information.
