We have investigated the effect of heterogeneity on the performance of
collective comunication operations. We have also proposed new
algorithms for collective communications in heterogeneous NOW
systems. Our new schemes have been presented at ICPP'98 (Efficient
Collective Communication on Heterogeneous Networks of
Workstations). You can access this paper and our other related
