At one time, I managed an Intel iPSC/860 system. In the
late 1980s and early 1990s, Intel had a free iPSC simu-
lator that compiled on just about any Unix system, using
Unix processes to model the iPSC processors. I was told
(by Intel) that this was, indeed, freely distributable.
Depending on the build (BSD/SysV), it was named "asim"
or "bsim".

Now, of course, I cannot find it in my archives, and it
has disappeared from Intel's FTP archive.

If anyone has a copy of this source code, I would greatly
appreciate a copy of the archive. Drop me a note; if there
is interest among the community, I'll find a place for it
in an online archive.
