"MPI/Pro(tm) for Windows NT Ships for Pentium Architecture Clusters"
MPI Software Technology, Inc (MSTI) of Starkville, MS, announces the
shipping of its commercial-grade MPI product, MPI/Pro(tm) for the
Microsoft Windows NT (R) environment. MSTI currently provides TCP/IP
cluster support, and, later, both SMP and VI architecture support for
the standardized Message Passing Interface (MPI). More information is
available at http://www.mpi-softtech.com.

MPI/Pro(tm) for Intel and DEC architectures is available now. Product
is shipping now for Pentium, and shipping for DEC alpha by May 10.
TCP/IP support is the current shipping product.
MPI provides a common-off-the-shelf programming environment well known
to the HPCC and High End Computing Communities, based on the standard
built by the community in the MPI Forum. MPI is in use worldwide with
many users and applications. MSTI's product, MPI/Pro(tm), offers
polished highly supported capability for the Windows NT environment,
including Fortran support (with Digital Visual Fortran 5.0 (R), Absoft),
and unlocks the potential of extremely cost-effective cluster
parallelism.

MPI Software Technology, Inc was started by leading researchers and
recognized implementors involved with the MPI Forum, and ushers in a
new era of commercial grade message passing support for ubiquitous,
cost-effective cluster computing for Intel Architecture and DEC Alpha
platforms. MPI Software Technology also offers MPI implementations
for OEM and embedded platforms, as well as short-course training on
these products, and invites inquiries from computer/cluster OEMs, ISV
tool vendors, as well as from end users concerning this product
announcement.
