 EuroPVM/MPI is an International Conference focused on the latest developments
 of PVM (Parallel Virtual Machine) and MPI (Message Passing Interface) and 
 their applications.
 This is the Fifth EuroPVM/MPI meeting of the series, previous ones
 being held at University of Rome - Italy (1994), ENS Lyon - France (1995),
 TU Munchen, Germany (1996) and Institute of Computer Science &
 ACC CYFRONET in Krakow - Poland (1997).
 
 The meeting is dedicated to the latest advances in PVM and MPI and the
 Main Topics of the Meeting are:
                                                
  - algorithms using PVM and MPI;
  - applications in science and engineering based on the message-passing 
    paradigm;
  - latest extensions and improvements to PVM and MPI;
  - performance and evaluation of PVM and MPI;
  - tools for PVM and MPI;
  - interfaces for PVM and MPI;
  - HPF/MPI extensions;
  - implementation issues.
 
 The main participants and audience (based on the experience of previous 
 meetings) for EuroPVM/MPI are researchers from academic and government 
 research institutions and industry. The meetings usually attract 150-200 
 participants.

 CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS:
 
 All Invited and Accepted papers will be published in the "Lecture Notes 
 in Computer Science" Springer series. From this year Springer will also 
 provide an electronic version of the Proceedings.
 
 The information from the publisher about Latex file formats will
 be available shortly.
 

 REGISTRATION FEE:
 
 Regular Fee                    150 pounds sterling (before 15th July 1998)
 Late Registration              200 pounds sterling (after  15th July 1998) 
 Students Registration           80 pounds sterling

 Registration forms will be available shortly on this Web site.

 The meeting starts after the Euro-Par '98 Conference (1-4 September, 1998) 
 in Southampton, UK, so that will be easier for some of the delegates to 
 attend both meetings.
