Research Positions at Mississippi State University

Mississippi State University invites applicants for 2 Research
Assistant I (non-tenure) positions in its NSF Engineering Research
Center for Computational Field Simulation.  The successful candidate
will have significant experience in the area of high performance
computing, with particular knowledge of message passing parallel
programming, C, C++, Fortran, threads, and use of real parallel
systems.  Knowledge of numerical algorithms and parallel libraries is
desirable but not required.

The work will require research on high performance and realtime
message passing parallel computers, as well as working on leading edge
system software for high performance computers and networks of
workstations. 

Work will include efforts on sub-contracts to government contractors
who have a US government requirement for US citizenship, so US
citizenship is a requirement for this position.

Requirements: MS in Computer Science, or a closely related field or a
BS plus one to three years experience.  Salary is competitive and
commensurate with degree and experience.
