    Educational Technology refers to computer-based
    delivery systems for educational material and is
    a discipline in its infancy. Applications for the
    Chair are invited from candidates with the
    expertise and vision to establish a research
    group of international standing, with strategic
    support from Kodak and the Royal Academy of
    Engineering.
    
    The appointee will be expected to lead
    inter-disciplinary research which includes
    specialists from the Schools of Psychology,
    Education and Computer Science.

    Applicants are invited for a Chair within the
    general scope of computer systems, software and
    applications.  The successful candidate is
    expected to establish a new specialisation and
    provide research leadership for existing staff.
    Fields which are of strategic interest include:
    network management for communications systems and
    medical applications. Contributions to innovation
    in undergraduate courses and to the management of
    the School will also be expected.
